JAMMU, Sept 23: Pakistan Army again resorted to firing on Indian forward positions in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district last night but there were no reports of any casualties or damage.
Official reports said Pakistan Army opened firing from its forward Battal area opposite Krishna Ghati sector at 9.30 pm, violating ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan.
Forward Indian posts in Krishna Ghati sector came under firing from Pakistan side for about half an hour. The Indian side retaliated with restraint.
Sources said troops also observed movement of some militants along the LoC during firing by Pakistan Army. However, the militants retrieved to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) after retaliatory firing by the Army from this side.
No casualties or damage was reported on Indian side in the firing, which has been taking place quite often in Krishna Ghati sector.
