SAMBA, July 20: A disability camp was organized today here at Accidental Hospital, Ghagwal.
More than 60 people with disabilities visited the camp, out of which 31 were registered and after completing all formalities and proper check up by various specialists, Disability certificates were made for them.
Narayan Dutt Sharma, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Ghagwal along with Pooja Sharma, Tehsildar, Ghagwal visited the Hospital and interacted with the people. Dr Arun Sharma, Incharge AH, Ghagwal, explained in detail to the SDM the process of issue of Disability certificates.
The SDM also met with all doctors involved in the camp and also saw certificates to be issued to the people. The main specialists involved in the camp include Dr Som Chadgal (Orthopaedician), Dr Bharat Bhushan (Surgeon), Dr Pallavi Jamwal (Eye Specialist) and Dr Shallu Jamwal (Gynaecologist).
Susheel Bhatti and Dinesh Singh Jamwal from District Hospital Samba registered all people and completed their formalities. The final Disability certificates would be issued within two weeks after signatures by all officers and fulfilling other formalities.
