JAMMU: A fresh batch of 1196 pilgrims today left for their respective base camps in Kashmir to proceed on their onwards journey to holy cave shrine of Shri Amarnath ji situated in South Kashmir Himalayas.
“Amid slogans like ‘Bum Bum Bole, Jai Baba Burfani and Har Har Mahadev’ a batch of pilgrims comprising 822 males, 274 females, 86 Sadhus and 14 Sadhvi in a convoy 32 vehicles including 27 buses, five Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) left from Bagwati Nagar base camp between 1155 hours to 1205 hours”, an official said this afternoon.
