JAMMU, July 23: The State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of a Standing Finance Committee for Jammu and Kashmir State Rural Livelihood Mission (UMEED).
Headed by Administrative Secretary, Planning, Monitoring & Development Department, as its Chairman, the Committee shall examine the Annual Plan before it is formally approved by the Chairman, Executive Council. It shall also examine the proposal of the quantum of the lump-sum hike in the emoluments of contractual employees of the Mission and proposal regarding payment of TA/TMA and HRA for the contractual employees of the Mission.
Members of the committee, included Administrative Secretaries of Finance Depart-ment, Industries and Commerce Department, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and Mission Director J&K State Rural Livelihood Mission.
