JAMMU, July 23: Division Bench of State High Court comprising First Puisine Judge Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar and Justice BS Walia today disposed of Public Interest Litigation seeking recovery of Sales Tax arrears.
“In view of order dated March 2, 2016, Government was permitted to exercise powers under Section 25-D of J&K GST Act, 1961 to announce amnesty scheme subject to certain conditions”, the DB said, adding “this order takes care of the issue raised in this petition”.
Accordingly, the PIL was disposed of.
