JAMMU, July 24: Full Court has withdrawn two sets of Draft Rules for the staff of Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
The Full Court, while considering the matter running under the head “to suggest comprehensive two sets of Rules viz “Gazetted” and “Non-Gazetted” for High Court staff repealing the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Staff (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1968, has resolved that the two sets of draft rules for High Court staff framed by the Rules Committee, shall stand withdrawn, reads the order issued by Registrar General, M K Hanjura.
This decision has been taken in view of the fact that J&K High Court Staff (Condition of Service) Rules, 1968 are already in place and Section 6 of these Rules empowers the Chief Justice to lay down the qualification of a member of service and determine the mode of recruitment from time to time.
