KPs ignored during HM visit: ASKPC

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, July 24: Executive body of All State Kashmiri Pandit conference (ASKPC) called the meeting under the chairmanship of advocate Ravinder Raina, president of ASKPC.
Raina raised many questions about the meeting of Home Minister with some groups only in the Valley, many apprehensions were felt and seriousness in settling back the Kashmiri Pandit in the Valley which is evident by not meeting with original inhabitants of the Valley i.e. internally displaced persons, PM Package Employees and other State employees who were forced to leave the Valley who are campaigning and demonstrating at Jammu. Ignoring them raised many doubts and seriousness of State as well as Centre Government, he added.
The body also highlighted that the KPs fate was ignored by Home Minister and didn’t bother to drop at Jammu to console and enquire about the circumstances of the employees leaving from the Valley and who are protesting for last 14 days.
These employees were tortured brutally and vandalised in the camps of the State and they cannot be ignored in discussions in solving the Kashmir problem.
It is incumbent on part of State Government and Central Government to listen their demands and grievances equally.
