One held with 2.8 kg charas

JAMMU, Sept 24: Police arrested a truck driver along with 2 kilogram and 800 grams charas from Gangyal.
Police spokesman said that, on specific information, police party from Gangyal Police Station laid a naka at Kunjwani and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK01C-8565.
During checking, police recovered 2.8 kilograms of charas and arrested driver Mohd Yousaf, son of Mohd Ismail of Panglish, tehsil Tral, district Pulwama, Srinagar.
A case under FIR number 110/12 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal.
The arrest was made by police party from Gangyal Police Station led by SHO Manjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO South.
