JAMMU, Sept 24: Police today arrested an auto thief and recovered a stolen three-wheeler from his possession.
Police spokesman said that, on September 22, Ramesh Kumar, son of Thoru Ram of Resham Ghar colony filed a complaint with Police station Bakshi Nagar that some thieves had stolen his auto three-wheeler bearing registration No JKO2AH-4942 parked outside his house at Qasim Nagar, Bakshi Nagar.
Police registered a case under FIR number 102/12 and started investigation.
During investigation, Bakshi Nagar Police arrested auto thief namely Pappu, son of Parkash Chand of Chatha, spokesman said, adding, upon his disclosure, the stolen three-wheeler was recovered.
