JAMMU, July 31: Trikuta Nagar police arrested two persons along with 84 pouches of illicit liquor at old gate Railway Station.
As per police sources, a team from police station Trikuta Nagar laid a surprised naka at old gate Railway Station and intercepted two pedestrians.
During checking, police recovered 84 pouches of illicit liquor from their possession and arrested them on the spot.
The accused have been identified as Vishal Kumar, son of Kewal Kumar of Katram, at present Talli Morh Janipur and Rakesh Kumar, son of Devi Dass of Amritsar Punjab.
A case under FIR Number 143/16 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Trikuta Nagar and investigation started.
