JAMMU, July 31: On the direction of court and complaint lodged by Diploma Engineers Association, Bakshi Nagar police has registered a counter FIR number against Executive Engineer, PHE Division (Rural) under Sections 323/332/353/504/506.
As per the complaint, lodged by president of Diploma Engineers Association, he was slapped and roughed up by the accused in a meeting convened on July 12, 2016 by the Chief Engineer at PHE Guest House New Plot, which was presided over by Superintending Engineer to sort out some departmental matter.
The complainant approached Police to get an FIR lodged against the accused but Incharge Police Station refused to entertain the complaint upon which he prayed before the court that directed the Incharge Police Station Bakshi Nagar to get the matter investigated in terms of Section 156 (3) CrPC.
Earlier, the Xen had also lodged a complaint against four Junior Engineers and consequent upon this FIR was registered against the latter at Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
