JAMMU, Aug 3: A farmers awareness camp was organized by Horticulture Development Officer (HDO) Bhalwal at village Mathwar, in which large number of farmers, panch and sarpanchs of Mathwar block took part.
Sandeep Sharma, HDO Bhalwal explained various schemes related to the development of horticulture in the State.
On the occasion, 250 citrus plants were distributed among the farmers by Chief Horticulture Officer Yogesh Kesar, who while speaking appealed to the farmers to come forward to avail the benefits of the Government schemes. He asked them to approach Horticulture Department for all type of guidelines, they need.
