JAMMU, Aug 3: In order to gear up the party cadre for the successful conduct of the scheduled 15 days programmes to be organized in connection with celebration of the 70th Independence Day, BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma, along with State general secretary Pawan Khajuria, MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta, Udhamur district president Rakesh Gupta, senior leader Som Raj Khajuria and City president Vikas Bharat Pachiala, chaired and addressed a meeting of party activists and stressed upon them to get themselves prepared to reach the masses and ensure the public participation in each of the programme.
Sat Sharma informed them that the party programmes for 15 days will be organized from August 9 and culminate on August 23. He added that it is for the first time that fortnight long variety of programmes have been finalized by the party at national level and the same are to be held in our State as well. He further said that every person should hoist Tricolor on the roof of his house and also meet the families of martyrs and persons who lost their lives for nation in the battlefield and honour them.
Pawan Khajuria said that the party workers should make every effort to make this Independence Day special one.
Rajesh Gupta also spoke to the party workers and asked them to devote more time to further strengthen the party.
In this meeting Rama Nand Baria, Krishan Lal Sharma, Satpal Sallan ,Mohan Lal Darahi, Veer Singh, Ram Lal Gupta, Bansi Lal Gupta, Vikas Bharat Pachiala, Ashok Mehra, Akshay Kumar Bunty, Amit Sharma, Vikas Kongra and others were present.
