JAMMU, Aug 3: Bathindi police traced out a missing college student from Panjtirthi.
As per police sources, on July 31, family members hailing from Firozabad, Sunjwan lodged a complaint with police post Bhatindi stating that their daughter studying in BA Part III had gone to college and did not return home.
Acting over the complaint, a missing report was lodged at police post Bhatindi and manhunt was launched to trace out the missing girl.
With the strenuous efforts of police, the missing girl was traced from Panjthirthi, who was living in a paying girl’s hostel at Panjtirthi with her friends.
After completing legal formalities, the girl was handed over to family members and accordingly the missing report was closed.
