JAMMU, Aug 3: A meeting of BJP Ex-servicemen Cell was held at R S Pura under the chairmanship of BJP Spokesperson Brig (retd) Anil Gupta in which various issues confronting the ex-servicemen in the State were discussed.
As per a release, the meeting was convened by S D Chib convener of the Cell. Brig. Gupta detailed about one rank one pension and also informed about its future impact on the pension.
He also gave replies to wide ranging questions raised by ESM such as ECHS Problem, Army School bus and shed for school children at Army School Miran Sahib.
He informed that those whose income is above 10 lakh are not entitled to subsidized ration.
Sub Maj. (retd) B S Jasrotia co-convener besides speaking about the pension problems also spoke about various welfare measures initiated by the Government such as CSD VAT item and enhancement of amount being paid for cremation of soldier who dies while serving the nation from Rs 3000 to Rs 5000.
