JAMMU Aug 4: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar today spoke to Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh and Financial Commissioner B B Vyas and stressed on the need to release the salaries of all the employees including KP employees who are posted in Kashmir valley or have gone there for employment but had to return to Jammu due to prevailing unrest in Valley
MLC while issuing the statement mentioned that he called the Deputy Chief Minister who was in Srinagar and spoke to him over the phone and discussed with him the current situation which has arisen due to the prevailing unrest in Kashmir owing to which almost all the employees working or posted in Kashmir including the KP employees had to flee to Jammu due to the lack of security and are sitting on protest from last 20 days. He stressed on the release of salaries of all the employees so that they don’t face any further hardships since they can’t join their duties under such prevailing conditions.
BJP legislator also stated that he apprised Deputy Chief Minister about the various meetings of the committee constituted by BJP with the protesting employees and further added that report is being made on the same.
