LOS ANGELES, Aug 5: Actress Chloe Grace Moretz says dating Brooklyn is great but she does not want their relationship to be the thing that defines her.
The 19-year-old star said she has been in the films for quite a long time and people should notice her for her work rather than her relationship with Brooklyn, reported E! Online.
“Seriously, you don’t know how often I’m just described as ‘his girlfriend,’. And you think, ‘Well, I’ve also been acting for 13 years, but don’t worry,” Moretz said.
While talking about her boyfriend she said, “One of the reasons why dating him is great is that we both get what it means to have our lives twisted and torn apart and faked.”
“The 5th Wave” star also shared her views about women empowerment and said, “For me Feminism has always just been about equality. Me being worth exactly the same as my male counterparts, but not more than them—unless what I do is of a higher equality.” (PTI)
