JAMMU, Aug 6: The dead body of an unidentified man packed in a gunny bag was recovered from Balol Nallah within the jurisdiction of police station Gangyal.
According to a police spokesman, some locals, yesterday spotted a heavy and sealed gunny bag in Balol Nallah and informed the police. He said that on their information police reached the spot.
“On opening of bag, a well built body of an unknown man was found, who was wearing grey coloured check shirt and a blue trouser”, he said, adding the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and post mortem.
He said it apparently appears to be a case of murder and therefore a case FIR NO 79 under Section 302 RPC has been registered at police station Gangyal and investigations started.
