Involve all stake holders to resolve grievances: Sham

JAMMU, Aug 8:  Senior Congress leader and former minister Sham Lal Sharma today appealed to engage all the stake holders in bilateral talks to find out permanent solution of the popular grievances, aimed to restore normalcy and political stability in the State.
While addressing monthly meeting of  BCC at Akhnoor,  Sham Lal said that current unrest was an outcome of the wrong policies and mishandling of the situation on the part of the BJP- PDP Govt. He said that `alliance’ proves to be a disastrous alliance for J&K.
Mr Sharma demanded that Center Govt while inviting the all stake holders for bilateral talks should ensure the participation of people from  all regions and their representatives in particular from Jammu region also.
He reiterated  that neglecting Jammu region will intensify the brewing discontentment among  the people of this region and  particular youth who suffered a lot due to worst ongoing unrest in the Valley. Mr Sharma demanded that empowerment of Jammu has become imperative as this region is soul bridge between Kashmir and Delhi.
Mr Sharma said terrorism has no place in the civilized society who made long sojourn on democratic dimensions.  He lambasted BJP who for the sake of power and its  hidden agenda of  Kashmir mission soon after grabbing power in haste bargained with PDP.  The  CM  has undertaken controversial and sensitive issues such as Kashmir Pandits  and Sainik colonies and it has  spoiled the cordial environment in Kashmir,  Mr Sharma maintained.
Congress leader asked the unholy alliance of the coalition to desist from promoting political instability to divert masses attention from real issues being faced. He also said that employees from Jammu region working in Darbar Move offices or in other parts of  Kashmir who are presently stuck in ongoing turmoil,  should be provided  proper security. He also demanded relief for the flood and rain affected people of the region.
