UDHAMPUR, Aug 8: A young girl committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling hook of her room in the locality near Military Hospital of the town here.
The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Priya, daughter of Jagdish Raj, resident of Chanunta in Ramnagar. The family is presently residing at Udhampur town on MH Road. The family members saw her hanging from the ceiling hook and removed her immediately and rushed to hospital, where doctors declared her as brought dead. The body was later sent for postmortem. The police registered a case and started investigation.
