JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh today flagged off first batch of Buddha Amarnath Yatra from Yatri Niwas Bhawan here to Poonch district.
The first batch of 1,088 pilgrims, including 405 females and 41 children, left the base camp early this morning in a convoy of 33 vehicles.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the pilgrims. (AGENCIES)
