NEW DELHI : Government today agreed to have a discussion on the Jammu and Kashmir situation in the Rajya Sabha at 1100 hrs tomorrow. Responding to demands by members for a discussion on the Kashmir situation, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, on the suggestion of Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad that a debate be held at 1100 hrs tomorrow under Rule 267 after suspending other business, said, “I fully agree with the proposal of the Leader of the Opposition.
I am ready to have a discussion on the issue tomorrow at 11 am.” Mr Singh said, “I feel that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is very serious. A solution to the Kashmir situation cannot be achieved by the government alone but only with the support of all parties.” (AGENCIES)
