MENDHAR, Aug 11: The police has arrested a youth for the alleged rape of a minor girl hailing from Ari area of Mendhar.
A police spokesman said that on the complaint of the parents of 14-year-old, Ruksana (name changed), resident of Ari, Mendhar police registered a case FIR No. 131/ 2016 against the two accused persons. While one Javed Ahmed, son of Mohd Ashraf, resident of Jugal was arrested by SHO Mendhar Insp Anzir Mir today, his associate, Majid Ahmed was still absconding. The police was also looking for a woman hailing from Ucchad, who helped these accused persons for sexual assault on this minor girl.
