Blind Home inmates’ plea to SWD authorities

JAMMU, Aug 11: The inmates of Blind Home Roop Nagar in a memorandum to Commissioner Secretary Social Welfare Department have highlighted their problems and sought the immediate intervention of the higher ups in the department in settling them.
The memorandum alleged that the inmates of home were facing many problems like that of insanitation, dingy rooms and serving of improper diet which has led to their malnutrition.
The memorandum also urged the Commissioner Secretary to look into the matter and take action under rules against the officers responsible for the mess prevailing in the home.
