RAJOURI, Aug 11: A partial bandh was observed in Rajouri town besides other small towns of Thannamandi, Darhal and Budhal in protest against deteriorating situation in Kashmir valley and failure of Govt to restore normalcy.
The shops and other business establishments of one community remained closed while movement of local traffic in Rajouri town also remained partially affected. Similar partial bandh was also observed by people in Darhal, Thannamandi and Budhal towns as mark of protest against killings in Kashmir and failure of Govt to restore normalcy. Some shops in two markets of Poonch town also remained closed in support of Kashmir. The traffic however, plied normally in Poonch city.
