JAMMU, Aug 11: Expressing satisfaction over the stand of Union Government over the Kashmir issue, Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today said it fully backs the Home Minister of India that no talks will be held with Pakistan over Kashmir which is integral part of India and only dispute is on PoK which has been forcibly occupied by Pakistan.
KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri while commenting on the debate held in Rajya Sabha yesterday over Kashmir issue said his organization fully backs Union Government. He said the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi pegged Kashmir issue on development is an indication that GoI will remain committed to development side only and will not pay any attention to the separatists demand who have ruined the State in last 27 years of turmoil.
Kashmiri said the real picture of Kashmir situation was presented by MoS in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh in Rajya Sabha and this is an eye opener for those who are questioning the Centre for not holding talks with separatists or Pakistan.
He also expressed dismay over the Chief Minister for her soft stand towards separatists and said that KPs are victims of injustice since 1989 after they were forced to leave Valley. He demanded strong action against separatists and Pak agents.
KPC senior leaders Tej Pandita, M L Raina, M N Raina, Dr H L Saraf, Susheel Bhat, R Razdhan, S L Zutshi, Surinder Bhat and others attended the meeting.
