PWAK urges CM to implement 7th PC

KATHUA, Aug 11: Pensioners Welfare Association Kathua (PWAK) today urged Chief  Minister Mehbooba Mufti to implement 7th Pay Commission (PC) in the State.
The demand was raised during a meeting of  association held today under the chairmanship of Dilsher Singh, general secretary of the association.
Addressing the meeting, Amar Nath Dogra, president of the association, urged the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to implement recommendations of 7th PC immediately so that employees and pensioners can also have a sigh of relief in these hard days of economic depression.
He also demanded enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 per month. He further urged the CM to release salary grants of employees working in different Government departments at earliest.
