KATRA, Aug 12: An elderly female pilgrim from Maharashtra, died here today while on way to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
The deceased, identified as Kushayalia (72), wife of Krishan Rao Gabenday of Amarwati, Maharshtra, fell unconscious near Banganga. She was rushed to CHC Katra where doctors declared her as brought dead.
Cardiac arrest is apparent cause of death. Police has shifted the body to hospital mortuary.
