RAJOURI, Aug 12: Six persons were injured when a Tavera vehicle met with an accident near Bhata Durian on Poonch-Rajouri road this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when the Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK02BM/2686 was on its way to Jammu from Surankote. When the vehicle reached near Bhata Durian the driver lost control and it fell into a small gorge. Six persons were injured and they were shifted to Surankote hospital.
The injured are identified as Zaheer Ahmed of Faislabad, Reyaz Ahmed and Mohd Arif from Dundak, Bashir Ahmed from Ramban, Abdul Razak from Phagla and Santosh Singh from Madhya Pradesh. Condition of two of them was said to be serious. They were being referred to Jammu. Police has taken cognizance of the matter.
