Army conducts medical camp at Keri

JAMMU, Aug 14: A medical camp was organised at Keri in Rajouri district by the Army recently under Sadhavana initiative.  A team of doctors from Army attended about 200 villagers of Keri, Doongi, Shahpur, Gatote, Miari and Sasalpur.
People from border villages showed keen interest in the Camp and brought out their problems and queries which were answered by the experts from Army Medical Team.
An awareness campaign was also conducted at the venue where health and mitigation measures on issues like hygiene and sanitation, communicable / non communicable diseases, water purification and water borne diseases were discussed and populace was made aware of preventive measures.
This initiative was greatly appreciated by locals especially the people from the remote areas.
