JAMMU, Aug 19: Kashmir Pandit Conference (KPC) in its meeting here today urged the community to extend full support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has taken a tough stand against Pakistan which is responsible for proxy war in Kashmir and the death and destruction caused during last 27 years of turmoil in the State.
Addressing the meeting here today KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri said that KPC fully backs GoI stand on PoK, Kargil, and Bulochistan who are facing atrocities through the hands of Pakistan administration and force.
Kashmiri said this is for the first time that any Prime Minister in India has taken such a tough and bold stand against Pakistan and entire nation should back his fight against terrorism.
Kashmiri also criticized the opposition parties especially Congress and NC for making the double speak over the issue.
Commenting on recent statement of leader of Opposition in RS, Ghulam Nabi Azad who asked Mr Modi to show love for Kashmiris instead of its beauty told Mr Azad that is why he is hesitating in asking the separatist and anti national elements in Valley responsible for present unrest to show love for Indian nation, Flag and Constitution.
He said fundamentalist elements should work for restoration of normalcy in the Valley and Congress and other opposition parties should tell them that as they are responsible for present mess in Kashmir. He said the radical youth and political parties were adding fuel to fire instead of working for restoration of normalcy in Valley.
He said Pakistan be asked in unequivocal terms to smash terror camps on its soil and not to interfere in internal affairs of India. Tej Pandita senior vice president KPC and other leaders also addressed the meeting demanded Pandits, PoK refugees, people of Jammu and Ladakh, Sikhs and Gujjars are important party to Kashmir instead of Hurriyat which represents a small group of Valley people.
