JDA clears 44 building permission cases

JAMMU, Aug 22: Jammu Development Authority has cleared 44 building permission cases.
The permissions were cleared during a meeting of Building Operation Controlling Authority (BOCA), which was held under the chairmanship of Mubarak Singh, Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority.
In the meeting 47 number of building permission cases were examined, out of which 44 have been cleared.
The BOCA meeting was attended by Director Land Management, JDA, Sr Town Planner, JDA, Executive Engineer PDD, 3 Executive Engineers of PHE Deptt. And 2 Executive Engineers of Sewerage & Drainage Deptt, Jammu.
Further Vice Chairman, JDA appealed the public not to construct the buildings without getting their plans approved by the competent authority. To ensure planned and organized development, Electric/Water connection for all type of constructions shall be sanctioned by the concerned departments only on the production of completion certificate of building issued by the competent authority.
