JAMMU, Aug 23: National Sikh Front, Jammu & Kashmir  has appealed to  United Nation that the area of J&K which is illegally occupied by Pakistan should be handed over to India because the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir has acceded the succession of Jammu and Kashmir with India.
Chairman of National Sikh Front S. Varinderjeet Singh said that in 1994  Parliament of India passed a resolution unanimously  to free Pakistan occupied Kashmir  from  the illegal occupation of Pakistan.  Now, it is  the responsibility of Modi Govt to implement the resolution  and put it to action.   He firmly criticized the opposition parties National Conference, Congress and CPI (M) when they met with President of India and asked him to restore peace in the Valley, rather, they should have asked President to put pressure on Modi Govt to implement  the resolution of 1994 because all these parties were also included in passing the resolution. Congress party initiated this resolution into the house of Parliament.
The Sikh leader said  that in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, the status of Kashmiris is worst than second grade citizens. He said Pakistan  deliberately is settling outside citizens in PoJK thereby making the Kashmiris minority. The Kabalis who attacked Kashmir with the help of Pakistan are settled in PoJK by Pakistan on the property which was left over by the refugees. Kabalis were given special treatment by Pakistan.  In Gilgit Baltistan also the population of Kashmiris is less than that of Pakistanis.   To show the world Pakistan declared PoJK as free and independent but the posts of Chief secretary, Finance Secretary, Police Director General, Advocate General and many other important posts are reserved only for Pakistanis.   The voice of locals of PoJK are suppressed by Pakistan Govt with the help of ISI & ISIS and militants present in the area.
Varinderjeet Singh said that in PoJK the properties of people who left the place decades back are in abundance, the refugees have not received the compensation till date. The Govt should  free PoJK from Pakistan and give PoJK refugees the land and settle them there.
Kulwant Singh Bhatti, Darshan Singh,  Gurdyal Singh Bali and   Gurcharan Singh Sudan also spoke on the occasion.
