JAMMU, Aug 24: A financial literacy camp was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Marheen, in collaboration with NABARD at village Gujjar Chak near the International Border.
A good number of people from the surroundings along with Sarpanch, attended the camp wherein the bank officials apprised them about various schemes.
The branch officials, Arun Kumar Sharma, Shambu Ram and B D Sharma apprised the participants in detail about the social security schemes like PMJJBY, PMSBY, Atal pension Yojana etc and advised the people to take benefit of these schemes as these have been specially designed to provide security to the poor population.
People were also made aware about different deposit and loan schemes, particularly KCC and other schemes of the banks.
Shambu Ram spoke in detail about the importance of bank account and clear the doubts of the public.
