JAMMU, Aug 25: Two youths were killed when the bike on which they were travelling, hit a parapet in Domail area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, two youth identified as Rajesh Kumar son of Harbans Lal and Ajay Sharma (31) son of Nanak Chand, both residents of Udhampur, got serious injuries last night when the bike on they were travelling, rammed into a parapet at Domail faling within the jurisdiction of police station Jhajjar Kotli.
He said that in serious condition both the injured youths were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Ajay was declared as brought dead by the doctors while Rajesh expired today at 5.45 am during treatment.
“After completing all medico-legal formalities the bodies of both the deceased have been handed over to their legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
