JAMMU, Aug 25: Chowk Chabutra police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a man along with large quantity of intoxicant injections.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Chowk Chabutra police station intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 506 intoxicant injections from the possession of the man and arrested him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Deepak Trehan, son of Raman Kumar, a resident of Pacca Danga.
A case under FIR Number 112/16 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station Pacca Danga and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Chowk Chabutra police post SI Sunil Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Ajay Bhat, SDPO City Vivek Shekhar Sharma and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
