KATHUA, Aug 25: Two persons died due to electric shocks at their respective residences, today.
According to the police, Jagdish Singh (40) son of Tej Singh of village Tatoli near Nagri Parole received serious electric shock while he tried to operate his pump set.
The family members immediately shifted him to Nagri Hospital where doctors declared him as bought dead. The body was handed over to his family members after legal formalities.
In an another incident, Sukulanta Devi (65) wife Om Prakash of Ward Number 14, Kathua received electric shock while she was switching on the light. She too was taken to the District Hospital, Kathua, where doctors declared her brought dead.
Her body too was handed over to the legal heirs after processing legal formalities.
In both the case, concern police has taken the cognizance of the matter.
