JAMMU, Aug 30: As a part of green and clean campaign initiative of the J&K SIDCO, its Managing Director Amit Sharma has urged upon the industrialists and other unit holders to assist the agency in its noble cause.
While stressing upon the Industrialist and other stake holders to play their role in raising green strips in the entire Industrial Estate, Mr Sharma said that State Forest department has assured full cooperation and support for providing saplings of different varieties to the SIDCO.
The MD claimed that SIDCO will utilize its full potential to create green belts in the Industrial estates all over the State including Bari Brahamana, Samba, Kathua, Ghati and other parts of the State. For this purpose, awareness programme are being organised for the industrialists and their staff. The creation of green strips will contain the pollution level in the industrial areas, he said.
