KATHUA, Aug 30: Student Council members of The Pathways International School for the current academic session were sworn in today at an impressive investiture ceremony.
After a traditional welcome, the school choir set the tone for the programme through a melodious song.
On the occasion, the chief guest was Charan Singh, Ex-MLA Kathua, while Chairman, The Pathways International School Dr Divij Suri and Dr SP Suri, Ex-Dean and HOD, Department of Education, University of Jammu were also present.
Principal, Kunal Anand presented the welcome address.
A total of 24 new members were given sashes beginning with the Head Boy Robin Singh and Head Girl, Kamakshi. The four house captains of Pathways Daredevils, Pathways Titans, Pathways Worriers and Pathways Challengers were sworn in, followed by Vice Captains and House Prefects.
A scintillating dance performance by students of classes III, IV, V and VI, a speech by Headmistress Rishu Sharma were the other highlights of the day’s programme.
The ceremony was coordinated by CCE Coordinator Komal DK Singh. Shivali, Senior Coordinator was also present on the occasion.
