JAMMU, Sept 1: The online admission of B Ed. course in the private affiliated Colleges of the University of Jammu, shall be re-opened from September 13 to September 21, 2016 on first come first serve basis.
This was decided in the meeting held between the delegation of members of Forum of Recognized Colleges of Education (FORCE) that met Prof. R D. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, JU.
The delegation dwelt on various issues related to carry on system of examination, role of Academic Coordination Committee etc along with the extension of date of online admission in the B Ed course. The members informed that only 2908 candidates have applied for admission against the sanctioned intake of 7050 seats owing to suspension of internet services in the State and late declaration of result of B Ed entrance examination for the Government College of Education conducted by BOPEE and informed that the process of counseling has not started yet.
After threadbare discussions, the members decided to re-open the online admission of B Ed Course in the private affiliated Colleges of the University of Jammu for the last time this year.
