JAMMU, Sept 1: A deputation of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) met Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Manmohan Singh, and put various civic problems of Trikuta Nagar before him for his immediate attention.
The deputation was led by Vikram Gour, TNWS president while Ashok Arora (vice president), Rajinder Kakkar (general secretary) and SN Kaul (treasurer) were part of the delegation.
It was brought to the knowledge of JMC Commissioner that drains in most of the sectors are badly damaged and the seeping water from these drains has damaged the foundations of the houses.
The inroads are badly damaged and need immediate repair and black topping while the street lights especially High Mast Lights at the crossings are damaged and need immediate repair/replacement.
The open Garbage Dumps need to be provided with containers while the damaged and accident prone bridge on a Nallah in Sector 4 and 5 needed immediate repair to avoid possibility of a possible accident.
The Commissioner assured the deputation to look into their problems.
