Chander Bhaga High School Akhnoor holds investiture ceremony

JAMMU, Sept 1: Chander Bhaga High School, Akhnoor held investiture ceremony in the school premises today.
The elected student council have 18 members. To keep the gender equality, 50 per cent members of the council are girls.
The event was graced by Raman Gupta and Aradhna Mahajan from school management.
In the function, parents of the elected students council were invited to decorate them with sashes and badges.
Anil Kumar and Versha Rani were announced as Head Boy and Head Girl of school respectively. Digvijay Badyal and Ajay Sharma have been elected as Captain and Vice-Captain from CV Raman House, Priyanka Sharma and Chinta Sharma as Captain and Vice-Captain from Darwin House, Sonia Devi and Surjeet Kumar as Captain and Vice-Captain from Edison House, Kajal Sharma and Pranav Mahajan as Captain and Vice-Captain from Newton House.
Shubam Bandral, Karan Kumar, Ayushma Kumari, Barminder Kour, Tiksha Sharma, Akshita Sharma, Sourav Singh and Vishal Sharma were elected as school monitors.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of school, Pawan Bhardwaj stressed on more and more participation of girls in every event and wished them great success in their leadership roles filled with responsibilities during the current academic year.
Aradhna Mahajan in her speech encouraged the members of elected students council and asked them to set an example of perfection in every respect.
In the end, the vote of thanks was presented by the Raman Gupta.
