KATHUA, Sept 1: In a successful operation, Police team of PS Rajbagh today arrested one person wanted in two different FIRs with kidnapping and rape charges .
According to police Shafiq Wani S/o Amir Hamza of Lehri Billawar wanted in case under FIR no-141/16 u/s 366/376/342/109 RPC and case under FIR no-185/16 u/s 380 RPC of PS Rajbagh was evading arrest since July 6 this year. He was finally arrested from his hideout at a dhaba near CTM Kathua .He was working at dhaba as dish washer for the last ten days, police added.
It is pertinent to mention here that his brother had filed a Habeas corpus in High Court that Wani was in an illegal confinement of persons of Rajbagh area.
