Canon India appoints Eddie Udagawa as vice president

NEW DELHI, Sept 5:  Canon India has appointed Eddie Udagawa as its vice president to replace Andrew Koh who is moving to head the company’s Malaysia business.
“Udagawa will be responsible for the supervision and development of the Canon Imaging Communications Products (ICP) business and Consumer System Products (CSP) business in India. He undertakes the position with the vision to escalate the market share and strategies growth plans to take Canon India to new heights,” Canon India said in a statement.
Canon’s Consumer Systems Products (CSP) division offers printers for consumers as well as enterprise across different verticals. And, the Image Communication Products (ICP) division mainly works around the sale and positioning of DSLR cameras and lenses, high functionality compact cameras and professional video cameras.
“With a prior experience in CII space, as the General Manager for Regional CII Singapore business, he played a significant role overlooking some parts of the India business from the Regional Head Quarter standpoint. Possessing insights of the Indian Market,he plans to escalate the CII business to new heights,” the company added.
Udagawa’s predecessor, Andrew Koh will be taking over the Malaysian market as the President and CEO, Canon Malaysia. (PTI)
