Peas marginally up on local demand

NEW DELHI, Sept 29: Peas prices traded marginally higher by Rs 20 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on some local demand.
Traders said some local demand mainly helped peas prices to trade slightly higher.
In the national capital, peas white and green were up by Rs 20 each to Rs 2,870-2,920 and Rs 3,020-3,070 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,600-3,850, Urad Chilka (local) 4,300-4,600, best 4,800-5,300, Dhoya 5,200-5,300, Moong 4,600-5,100, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,050-5,450, Moong Dhoya local 5,450-5,550 and best quality 6,150-6,250.
Masoor small 3,650-3,850, bold 3,800-4,000, Dal Masoor local 4,400-4,500, best quality 4,500-4,600, Malka local 4,100-4,200, best 4,300-4,400, Moth 3,300-3,800, Arhar 4,100-4,400, Dal Arhar Dara 5,700-5,900.
Gram 4,450-5,550, Gram Dal (local) 5,650-5,750, best quality 5,850-5,950, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 2,230, Rajdhani 2,230, Rajmah Chitra 7,300-9,400, Kabli Gram small 5,000-8,500, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 4,100-4,800, Peas white 2,870-2,920 and green 3,020-3,070. (PTI)
