BHADARWAH, Sept 10: Army has organised carpentry training for local youth for a duration of one month which commenced here today.
These classes are being attended by the unemployed youth of Channi-Bhaderwah area. This programme will impart basic skills of carpentry that will enable the youth to join cottage industry or start their own business.
The local leaders and nearby villagers have been approaching the unit for organising skill based training to generate self-employment opportunities for the youth. This initiative of Army has been appreciated by all.
The carpentry training shall conclude on October 8, 2016.
