JAMMU, Sept 12: District administration has booked a notorious criminal under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
As per police sources, a notorious criminal identified as Tajinder Singh alias Happy, son of Mohinder Singh, a resident of Ward Number 4, Simbal Camp, Tehsil RS Pura has been booked under PSA.
The PSA warrant was issued by District Magistrate and was executed by SHO Miran Sahib Pawan Kumar under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
After execution of the warrant, the accused was detained and sent to Central Kot Bhalwal jail.
The accused, a drug addict was involved in six cases, mostly under the Arms and NDPS Acts registered at various police stations.
