Jammu, Sept 12: Two days National Level Management Development Programme on ‘Developing Individuals as an Instrument for Organization Excellence’ concluded at School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra.
The programme has focused to train middle level management employees of manufacturing industries, service sector, etc. The modules of event intended to have long term enhancement of productivity and efficiency of these employees at their respective work areas/business organizations.
The participants appreciated the contents and modalities of the programme and expressed that such kind of programmes expand the horizon of their learning by giving them a new lines of thinking and rejuvenate them for new and challenging work assignment.
During the inaugural ceremony of the programme, Dr Supran Kr Sharma, Programme Coordinator and Associate Professor, School of Business, extending the warm welcome to the participants, emphasized that this kind of programme facilitates in honing the skills of individuals in enhancing organization excellence on the one hand and on the other hand academia-industry interface beneficial to both the sides also becomes stronger.
He briefed the participants about the contents of programme and mentioned that variety of pedagogical tools including case studies, role plays, business games, lectures, demonstration, etc. would be used in this two days programme.
During the inaugural ceremony Dr Ashutosh, Associate Professor, School of Business also emphasized on the constructive role of this type of MDPs for senior level industry peoples.
Comprising of 10 sessions, the programme include discussions and interactions on topics like organization excellence, conflict handling, rational decision making, collaboration and team work, workplace spirituality, stress management, motivation and interpersonal communication.
