JAMMU, Sept 12: Justice Tashi Rabstan, Administrative Judge for district Doda, today visited courts at Bhaderwah and Doda and inspected their working.
During his visit to Bhaderwah Court, Justice Tashi inaugurated a canteen constructed by Department of Urban Local Bodies. He also threw open public toilets constructed by the Department of Tourism and a conference room constructed by the Public Works Department.
He also inspected the under construction court building at Doda and asked the Deputy Commissioner to ensure its completion at the earliest. During the course of interaction with Judicial Officers, Justice Tashi impressed upon them to expedite disposal of cases pertaining to juveniles, senior citizens and women.
Stressing upon the Judicial Officers to comply with the provisions of Section 89 CPC in letter and spirit while trying cases of civil nature, Justice Rabstan said, “the Judicial Officers must ensure speedy and timely justice to the litigants so that the fast eroding faith of public is restored”.
He had separate meetings with members of Bar Association at Doda and Bhaderwah and listened to their demands. He assured them that he will try his best to redress their grievances.
