JAMMU, Sept 10: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), known for its customer excellence and modern Retail Outlets, today in its unique initiative showcased Automation at one of its Retail outlet ‘Shahji Filling Station’, Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
Being the leader of sales in the market, this Retail Outlet is running on full automation and is being monitored remotely by the concerned authorities of the corporation. Company is now pioneer in having almost entire network under automation in the State of J&K.
The customers of this Retail Outlet comprising of various backgrounds were invited to witness the system of automated operations in the presence of company officials.
In a small but impressive function today, Mayank Singh, Deputy Manager, BPCL, explained the automation system of the company to the gathering and also demonstrated the checks being conducted to ensure Quality and Quantity through a large screen on which real time data transfer was displayed.
Isha Verma, Assistant Manager, BPCL (Automation) showcased the features and benefits of automation to the customers, which include all transaction data like nozzle No, exact place of fuelling, etc available for the customer, auto generated bill on taking fuel, card transaction at fore-front of customer and peace of mind, as customers can actually reconfirm the value delivered to him or his representative.
Rajesh Sharma, Territory Manager (Retail) informed the gathering that BPCL has become the first company which has made almost all of its Retail Outlets automated in the State and is committed to the expectations of the customers.
He furthered briefed to the gathering that such programs and initiatives to bring the automation to the door steps of the customers shall be a regular process to reach the expectations of the competitive market in J&K State.
